Glass Base Kandem 1115 Desk Lamp

A rare 1930’s Glass Based Kandem 1115 Table Lamp designed by Marianne Brandt for Kandem Germany (Körting & Mathiesen AG, Leipzig.)

Marianne Brandt was a German painter, sculptor, photographer, metalsmith, and designer who studied at the Bauhaus art school in Weimar and later became head of the Bauhaus Metall-Werkstatt in Dessau in 1928.

Excellent original, small chip to the glass base, factory painted surface and working factory switch, rewired with three core fabric covered cable.
