A Howard & Sons Bridgewater armchair.
Raised on a square tapering mahogany legs with factory stamped brass castor, rear leg bearing the impressed numbering and makers mark "Howard & Sons, Berners street".
A fully restored example, recovered in Howard's floral blue stripe cotton lining.
