The circular oak tilt top has a pollard oak band to the outer edge with egg and dart carved decoration below, on a turned lotus leaf topped tapering and reeded central column with splayed legs terminating in square toed gilt brass castor. 

A particularly fine piece with a subtle, understated feel in excellent original condition.

Possibly Irish circa 1825.
