A primitive walnut blacksmiths anvil stand. 

The worked top has knife marks as I’m sure it would have been used as a chopping block as well, the central hole to the top would house a wrought iron T shaped stand with a thin anvil working surface.

A sculptural side table if ever there was .... one of my favourite finds of the year .
