A continental painted side table.

Raised on bun feet with a low x-frame stretcher, single drawer with walnut top above, naively carved rosettes to the top and base of the serpentine legs.

The painted decoration really makes this table, the red laquer base has trailing gilt petals and flower heads to the legs and side panels,.... just wonderful. 

Late 17th / Early 18th century.
