The turned tapering front legs raised on gilt brass and glazed pot castor with chamfered swept rears, horse hair upholstered seats above, shaped rectangular back splat with central relief carved flower heads.

Made by C & R Light, circa 1860.

Excellent quality with a warm colour and all highly original.

Price is for the twelve as shown, upholstery can be arranged.

Charles and Richard Light were cabinet makers and looking glass manufacturers of Curtain Road, Shore ditch, one of the most famous Nineteenth Century furniture making areas in London.
