Georgian Two Tier Cricket Table

A painted sycamore topped cricket table raised on ash legs with triangular ash under tier.

A remarkable find, untouched in all respects, the four plank top is dowelled to the frame, the paint is its first and has wear in all the right places, the legs have never been reduced in height.

Found this month in a Welsh farmhouse this is undoubtedly the finest example brought to the open market in recent years and is of exhibition quality.

Welsh circa 1800.
