An illuminating glass Eagle head radiator cap car mascot.
Lalique commissioned Breves Gallery in Knightsbridge to mount his mascots and hood ornaments and then retail them to the British public.
The glass mascots were mounted in nickel plated fixtures and threaded caps, which lit from underneath using the engines battery power, this example is in fully working condition and in its original mount.
This mount is stamped “BREVES GALLERIES, KNIGHTSBRIDGE, SW3” the glass is clearly marked, “Lalique France”.
