The table top inlaid with exotic hardwood specimens including coromandel, padauk, rosewood, palm wood, calamander and satinwood over a paduak base panel, separated by traditional lead infill housing ebony and bone chevron inlay bordered by gadrooned ebony, raised on a solid turned ebony base with open ebony baluster turned frieze.
An exceptional and highly unusual example.
Manufactured in Ceylonese (British Colonial / Anglo Indian) British Ceylon (modern day Sri Lanka).
