The oak back rest carved as drapery in exaggerated shield form, centred by a more formal shield with a hand painted coat of arms to each, the shaped seat supported on turned, reeded and tapering front legs with swept rears.
A fine set in largely untouched condition with superb colour.
English, circa 1820.
