Reclaimed from the Wirral Childrens Hospital.
The gates comprises of four flanked panels, each has a central stem with multiple splayed leaves topped by a brass flower head, Tuderic roses border the four panels, the cresting has "W.C.H" surrounded by spiralling ivy with lions rampant to both corners.
Engraved brass plate to the lock "In Memorium to James Dowie, presented by his wife".
A pair of the original hinges are also included, the locks are fully functioning.
