Sam Crows Dodgems
Ref: 9381
A superb oil on board racing car from the dodgems of Sam Crow.
The board comes from the entrance to the dodgems commissioned by Sam Crow from Lakins in 1938 and painted by their chief artist, Edwin Hall.
The complete set of boards were removed from the ride in the 1970s and put into storage in Northallerton. Rescued by Michael Smith, they were amongst the first exhibits at the Fairground Heritage Centre, Devon.
The board has been in Drew's personal collection for a number of years after being purchased from the museum directly.
