18th Century Chinese Chippendale Desk Chairs By Mayhew & Ince
Mahogany frames with drop in upholstered seats, one seat pad frame replaced.
The chairs are identical to the “Dressing Chair” designs by William Ince & John Mayhew published in their 1762 catalogue “Universal System of Household Furniture“, plate XXXV.
English, second half of the 18th century.
