An English Regency mahogany estate bookcase.

The inverted breakfront base has four fielded panel doors with shelving behind, with three blind drawers to the frieze, the top has two lower doors with three open pigeon holes above each, fourteen open shelves to the centre, the twin pediments finished with simple scroll work.

Probably the work of Gillows of Lancaster.
