Raised on boldly carved ball and claw feet with stylised acanthus leaves above, the apron carved with vitruvian scrolls, the armrest begins with floral carving flowing into feathered necks terminating in parakeet heads.
The leather is probably late 19th or early 20th century and I feel there may be a similarly carved top rail underneath.
