A true pair of button back Howard & Sons daybeds.
Both have mahogany square tapering leg with stamped brass castors, original distressed factory ticking.
Structurally in excellent condition, almost no wear to the castors, no restorations or repairs.
Unusually they have matching number codes stamped 7750 3818 to the rear leg of both with the Howard & Sons, Berners Street stamp below. We acquired other Howard furniture from the same property, also stamped with this same number.
Provenance: Islay House, Isle if Islay, Scotland.
