Carved and painted pine devotional bust of Saint Agostino.

The plinth base reads "Ora Pro Nobis Sant Agosti" - (Pray for us Saint Augustine).

Incredible surface to the front which may have been touched repeatedly by followers. 

Saint Augustine was a Latin philosopher, Patron Saint of brewers, theologians, printers and was Bishop of Hippo Regius.
