In addition, we design and manufacture a bespoke

All our items are sourced and approved by

beautiful things began at 11! In the tens of
thousands of miles a year he will rack up on the
road, he will view thousands of items and this
makes a great resource for interior designers,
builders and architects alike as we can source,
restore, supply and fit everything from a door
handle to a complete church interior.

We were recently asked to source an entire church interior for
a client, here are some images of the
process involved prior to its shipment:

Here is an example of a cast iron fireplace from the point of removal, through restoration and finally on show ready for sale.
1. As removed
2. Stripping
Having sourced a suitable candidate for restoration we
remove (where possible) and collect the entire chinmeypiece,
grill, ash pan etc and recover it to our workshops.
The chimneypiece is chemically stripped of any painted
finish it may have. We do not generally sand blast these
pieces, preferring to complete the task by hand.
The ceramic tiles (where fitted is also cleaned and
polished.
3. Refinishing
4. For sale in showroom

Once stripped the chimneypiece, grill and any other
accompanying furniture can be burnished and/or blacked, as
appropriate. Again hand tools are used for this purpose
The transformation is now complete and the chimneypiece is
ready for display in our fireplace showroom. The
difference between "as-removed" condition and the finished
article is tremendous.
